What I did
I contributed to the app with Vinayak Rai, whose repository it lives in. My BrainBox repository carries the same codebase.

What it’s for
Regular chat for quick questions. An assistant mode that turns a request into a task list and works through it. A researcher with configurable depth and time that produces a doc with its sources. And document chat backed by retrieval.
Why it was hardGetting an assistant to do multi-step work (search, write, file) without losing the thread, while still feeling like a normal notes-and-docs app.
